Request a Tutorial

Simple Rounded Corners.

1. Create a new image  by clicking FILE => NEW and set the following settings

  •  width = 400
  • Height = 300
  • Resolution = 72 dpi
  • white background


2. Set the foreground color to black => click d

3.. Click the type tool 

  • Select verdana
  • Bold 72pt
  • smooth
  • color black

4. Type the word Text.

5. Select the move tool and center your work in the top third.

6. Click on the rectangle tool under the type tool. If it is not visible, hold down the tool under the Type tool and select rectangle. Make a square under the text word to take up about the next third.

7. Under the Square in the bottom third on the canvas , draw a rectangle.

8. Open layers panel .

9. Highlight the top layer on layer panel.

  • Select layer +> flatten image


 

10. apply a Gaussian blur between 3-7 px depending on the corner you want.

11. image adjust levels RGB 100-1.00-130 click ok.

 

 

12. Results
