This was developed to inspire a little creativity
and hopefully you get a different and even better effect then I did. The effect
produced here with this tutorial can be used in design interface layouts or
even a sweet personal desktop for your PC. This effect was inspired by some
of the Macintosh desktops.
Here are some examples to give you an idea of
what you could do with your art.

1. First things first set
up a new canvase, name this digital curves art, 800X600 at 72dpi
and then set up a new layer.
2. Ok now set your foreground
color to whatever I used 4097E9 then your background 3555CE.
Ya ya I like pastel colors and stuff ok. :)
3. Now we have that all
fixed up you can click on activate your gradient tool and set
it to Radial Gradient.

4. Drag your gradient out
from the top left corner to the bottom right corner as shown on the below example.

5. Now create a new layer
and use the circular marquee to drag out an oval about 1/2
the size of the canvas and feather at 20px found at (Select,
Feather). Next (Edit, Stroke) and set the stroke at
40px Color: white, Location: inside, Blending:
normal, Opacity: 100% and uncheck preserve transparency.
1.
6. Now rotate this around
and duplicate 2 or 3 times max. Merge visible easy hot key (Shift,Ctrl,E).Then
play with the levels until its kind of looking like the example
below.

7. Next duplicate this later, zoom out, rotate it and play with the
layer modes. Try Softlight or Overlay mode to start
with, then play with the levels, curves
and color balance, located under (Image, Adjust) to get something like this example here.
