1. Open the image up in Photoshop. Duplicate the background and turn the
background layer off.
2. Add a layer called texture. Hit your D key followed by your X key to set
white as your foreground color. Use the paint bucket to fill your
canvas texture layer with white. Set this layer to mode = multiply
 3.
Set the foreground color to black and click filter=> texture=> cracquelure.
Set the cracquelure to
- spacing = 40
- depth = 1
- brightness = 1
 4.
Click filter=> brushstrokes=> crosshatch. set it to
- length = 11
- sharpness = 3
- strength =1
 5.
Click back on the background copy. Click Filter=> texture=> texturizer. Set
the texturizer to Load Texture.
 Find
the texture in your adobe=> photoshop7=>presets=> texturizer folder. Select
Puzzel.psd. Set the texturizer to
- scaling 100%
- Relief = 25%
- Light direction = top right.
- invert off.
6. Click on the texture layer. click Layer=> merge down.
7. Use your lasso tool to select out one piece. Click select=> inverse.
Click the "Add layer mask" to this layer.
8. Duplicate the masked layer and call it puzzle piece. Make sure the
mask is edit mode and click image=> adjust=> invert. Right click on this
mask and apply the layer mask.
 9.
Select your move tool and move the one piece off to the left and rotate
about -25 degrees .
10. Right click on the puzzle piece layer and select blending options.
Check Drop shadow and bevel and emboss.
11. Right click on your background copy and select blending option. Check
Drop Shadow.
12. Click on the background layer. Insert a new layer between the
background and the background copy layer. Click edit=> fill. Select pattern,
using the wood grain pattern.
 13.
Click on your top layer. Click Layer => New Adjustment layer. Set the
following:
- hue= 0
- saturation = 73
- lightness =0
Save your image!
