ICY BACKGROUND

Step 1
Open new canvas, 400 x 400, 72 dpi, white background.
Hit D for default colors. Got to Filter/Render/Clouds.
Image/Adjust/Auto Contrast. |

Step 2
Create a new layer, and fill with a blue of your choice.
Set layer blending to Color. Merge these layers.

| Step 3
Duplicate the current layer. Filter/Artistic/PlasticWrap
and enter the following settings.

| Step 4
On each of the two layers, Press Ctrl+I.
Set the top layer to Overlay.

| Step 5
On the top layer, go to Filter/Distor/Polar Coordinates
and check Polar to rectangular.
|

| Step 6
Go to Filter/Stylise/Wind - Wind from the Left.
Set this layer to Lighten.
|
 |
|
Step 7
Create a new layer and fill with a blue (or other color)
of your choice. Set layer to color mode and if you wish rotate your
canvas 90 degrees.
