Creating a Rotate Motion Tween

1. Unzip and open your work file that you downloaded above. You will see a star symbol on the stage, with only frame one filled with a keyframe.

2. Click on frame 20 and hit F6 to insert a key frame.

3. Click back on frame 1 and open your properties inspector so the properties of the frame show, not the properties of the symbol frame properties include tween, while symbol properties include color.  Set the tween box to motion.

4. Your properties inspector should be expanded to set the rotation. To expand  your properties inspector click the triangle in the lower right. This triangle points down when it can be expanded. It points up when it is minimized. Expand your properties inspector.

5. Select the rotate value of  CW for clockwise and type in the nu8mber 2 for the number of times to rotate across the tween.

6. Test your movie. The star rotates in place.

7. Click on frame 40 and hit F6 to inset keyframe.

8. Click back on frame 20. Use your arrow tool to move your star to the right side of your stage.

9. Add a motion tween to frame 20 using rotation = CW, 2x.

10. Test your movie. Now your star is moving across and back as well as rotatring.
