Creating a Simple Zoom EffectIn Flash MX 1) Open or create a new document on Macromedia MX. 2) Create a shape or text which you want to make the zoom out of. 3) Convert it to a symbol by selecting "Insert" and scroll down to "Convert to Symbol". 4) In the new dialog box that appears choose "Graphic" and click okay, to close the window. 5) Now select the symbol and click on frame 20 on the timeline toolbar and right click. 6) On the new menu which appears choose "Insert Keyframe"
7) Now go back to frame one on the timeline
go to the top of your screen and choose Modify and scroll
down to Transform and over to Scale and Rotate. 8) In the new dialog box which appears choose scale and key 20. In the rotate leave it at zero, and select ok.
9) Now you are ready to insert the tween. To do this select frame one right click and choose Insert Motion Tween. 10) Now you will have a zooming shape and/or text.
