1. Open a new movie 2. Create a new symbol
that is a graphic called symbol 1. 3.
Draw a skinny star in symbol one.
4. create a new symbol thatis a movie clip called symbol 2.
5. When symbol 2 is open, place a blank keyframe in frame
two of layer 1 by right clicking on that frame and selecting create blank
keyframe. 6. highlight frame
two of symbol 2, Drag symbol 1 into symbol 2. Add a key frame at frame 7 and 12
by right clicking first on frame 7 and selecting add keyframe and then right
clicking on frame 12 and selecting add keyframe.
7. Adding the pause: Add a blank keyframe on frame 13 by
rightclicking on frame 13 and selecting add blankkeyframe.
8. Right Click on frame 24 and select insert frame.
9. Bring up the effects panel
10. Click on frame 2 and select your symbol. Set the
effect to alpha and then 0% on the alpha rating.
11. Click on Frame 7 and select your symbol. click on the
option for enlarging and enlarge the image to about twice its size, keeping it
centered. 12. Click on Frame 12
and select your symbol. Set the effect to alpha and then 0% on the alpha rating.
13. Click on Frame 2 and open the frame panel from the
menu window=>panel=>frame 14.
Select tweening: motion. 15.
Click on Frame 7 and open the frame panel from the menu
window=>panel=>frame 16. Select
tweening: motion. 17. Switch
back to Scene 1, and place your symbol on the stage.
