1. Create a new movie 550 wide by 400 high white background, 12 frames
per second.
The options for this are seen in the movie properties below
2. Insert a new symbol called Fire set to the properties of Movie CLip.
3. In frame 1, Draw a Circle with the Oval tool Using an outline color of
YELLOW and a custom Radial gradient from center bluegreen-red-orange-yellow.
4. Insert a key frame in Frame 5, 10, 15, 20, and 25.
5. Using the arrow tool, drag the line at the top of hte circle up to
almost a point and adjust the sides to make them narrow a little. but a
little lean in this flame. Do the same to Key frames 5, 10, 15, 20 and 25,
but making sure there are variations between keyframes.
6. Use the fill transform tool to adjust the gradient so it is narrow,
has the center of hte bluegreen near or at the line, and yellow is all
around the top and side edges for each of frames 1,5, 10, 15, 20, and 24.
7. Insert a blank key frame in Frame 30 by right clicking and inserting
blank key frame.
8. Right click on frame 1 and copy frames. Right click on frame 30 and
paste frames.
9. For the properties of frame 1, 5, 10, 15, 20, and 25, change the
tweening to SHAPE.
10. click on your scene 1 to return to your scene. Drag several instances
of fire to your stage and place them around your burning object. Set the
alpha effect value down to around 40-60 for each frame.
